DESCRIPTION:Please join the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce for our January General Meeting. Our speaker is Monica Stiglich\, Oakdale Representative for the Water Settlement Work Groups.\n\n\n\n3M and the State of MN entered into an agreement in February 2018 with grant money to enhance the drinking water and natural resources in the east metro area affected by PFC (per- and poly-fluorinated chemicals) contamination. The agreement included a provision for a Working Group to identify and recommend projects for funding from the agreement settlement dollars. Highlights of the Drinking Water Plan and the next phase of the agreement addressing natural resource restoration and enhancement will be presented.
