\nJake Sedlacek has always worked to improve communities\, having worked in local government and in his current role as Manager\, Community Relations and Economic Development. This work includes supporting 30+ communities\, serving as a resource in the areas of operations\, energy policy\, emergency response\, social investments\, economic development\, and business retention and expansion.
\n\n
Experience
\nSince joining Xcel Energy in 2013\, Jake has enjoyed being part of delivering critical infrastructure and solving problems for stakeholders. His 21 years of professional experience includes nine years in local government\, overseeing planning and zoning\, recreation programs\, policy analysis and emergency management.
\n\n

Community
\nJake is an active member of several local chambers of commerce and is on the DARTS board and the Inver Hills Community College Foundation board. Jake enjoyed serving as a coach with the Eagan Athletic Association and has been an Xcel Energy Day of Service Site Coordinator for six straight years.
