DESCRIPTION:Join us for our November General Meeting at Holiday Inn and Suites - Lake Elmo! Our Keynote Speaker is: Principal Jill Stewart-Kellar from from NE Metro 916 \n\n\n\nJill Stewart-Kellar\, is the Assistant Director of Career and Technical Education and Proud Principal of the 916 Career and Technical Center for Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate Schools.  \n\n \n\nAs Assistant Director of CTE\, Jill supports the career and technical education programs of the 14 Northeast Metro Intermediate member school districts\, and is passionate in her work to focus on non-traditional populations such as students enrolled full time in alternative learning and special education settings so that they too set and achieve goals that lead to post secondary. \n\n \n\nAs Principal of the 916 Career and Tech Center (located at Century College)\, Jill serves 800 high school students enrolled in 20 career and technical programs which provide students with the COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE of career exploration\, industry certification and early college credit\,\n\n \n\nPrior to her time with Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate Schools\, Jill served as a health science magnet coordinator and developed and delivered a program aimed at increasing the numbers of students of color in high performance courses\, and served in the classroom as a business educator\, mostly at Osseo Senior High\, however got her start at both North and Tartan High Schools.
