DESCRIPTION:Join us for the September\, 2015 Member Meeting:\n\n\n\nChristine Osorio is in her first year as the Superintendent of district #622\, North St. Paul Maplewood Oakdale.   Ms. Osorio began her educational career in the Peace Corps\, as a teacher-trainer in the island country of Kiribati. Subsequently\, she worked for Saint Paul Schools from 1997-2015\, where she has held various roles. She began as a bilingual teacher and later became an Assistant Principal in 2002 and a Principal in 2004. From 2011-2015\, as a district administrator\, she held the roles of: Executive Director (Curriculum\, Instruction and Professional Development)\, Assistant Superintendent\, and Chief Academic Officer. \n\n \n\nMs. Osorio completed her undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Degrees include: B.A.S in English as a Second Language (K-12)\, and Elementary Education (K-6)\, and a B.A. in Spanish.  At Saint Mary's University of Minnesota she earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and later her license in K-12 Educational Administration. She earned her Superintendent's License at Mankato State University.
