A Practical Guide to Reducing Alzheimer's Risk
What if we approached Alzheimer’s disease the way we learned to approach heart disease—by understanding our risks and working to reduce them? Growing research is identifying modifiable risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease, and you’re invited to join Anna Shelander, Founder & President of the Curing Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation (CADF), to learn about your greatest risks for Alzheimer’s disease and many practical ways you can begin reducing them.
Twice per month, Anna explores a different piece of the Alzheimer’s puzzle, including oral health, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, inflammation and other factors being investigated in current research. You’ll hear information you have not heard before, explained in everyday language and supported by research—with something we all need: help and hope.
Start anywhere. Each session covers a different topic and stands completely on its own. You do not need to have attended previous sessions. Attend once, come when a topic interests you, or join us for the entire series! Click here to view Community Thread's event calendar for more details.
This event is FREE and open to all- courtesy of partnership between CADF and Community Thread. To learn more about Alzheimer's risk reduction and the mission and research of CADF, visit: www.curingalzheimersdisease.com.
