General Meeting - May 2021

Please join us for our in-person (and virtual option) May General Meeting, sponsored by The Waters of Oakdale - Senior Living. We will enjoy lunch from Oak Marsh, networking, community updates, and a special presentation. Lunch is free for members and prospective members.

Our Keynote Speaker for the luncheon is Chris Swanson who will present: 

"Garage Starts. Strengthening Supporting and Empowering the People Solving Mankind's Problems." 

Chris has been involved in many businesses since a very young age. He offers a visionary approach to business but has also been very successful in getting projects completed, and is skilled at building great, energetic, and passionate teams of people. He often considers himself a cheerleader for projects, bringing positivity to all his ventures. Chris has a background in technology, retail, franchising, and marketing. He is the founder, CEO, and owner of PureDriven, one of the area’s largest marketing companies. PureDriven has been very successful in helping both retail and restaurant businesses. Chris is also the founder, CEO, and owner of Garage Starts, which works with businesses and entrepreneurs to guide them along their entrepreneurial journey.  He holds a special passion for coaching youths to help them navigate the business world and hopes to inspire the Entrepreneurial spirit on the North Shore. He has spoken at several UMD classes in Business and Marketing. Offering intern positions to several of the students he met in the process. Chris has also recently won his 2nd term as Mayor of Two Harbors. In this position for the City, he sits on many committees with the goal of improving Two Harbors in all capacities. Most notably, the Way Finder signs installed throughout the Town, to help tourists navigate to popular destinations. He uses his Marketing expertise in this role as well, greatly improving the City’s website and overall appeal. Bringing more tourist dollars and businesses to the area.
