Christine Osorio is in her first year as the Superintendent of district #622, North St. Paul–Maplewood–Oakdale. Ms. Osorio began her educational career in the Peace Corps, as a teacher-trainer in the island country of Kiribati. Subsequently, she worked for Saint Paul Schools from 1997-2015, where she has held various roles. She began as a bilingual teacher and later became an Assistant Principal in 2002 and a Principal in 2004. From 2011-2015, as a district administrator, she held the roles of: Executive Director (Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development), Assistant Superintendent, and Chief Academic Officer.
Ms. Osorio completed her undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Degrees include: B.A.S in English as a Second Language (K-12), and Elementary Education (K-6), and a B.A. in Spanish. At Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota she earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and later her license in K-12 Educational Administration. She earned her Superintendent’s License at Mankato State University.
